Install from the AppExchange
Install the WorkDial managed package into a sandbox or production Salesforce org, then assign the permission set to the profiles that place calls.
WorkDial installs as a managed package on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or both, on editions above Essentials.
Choose a target org
Install into a sandbox first if you want to validate the data model before production. The package is identical in both.
Install the package
- Open the WorkDial AppExchange listing and choose Get it now.
- Choose Install for specific profiles and select the profiles that will place calls.
- Approve the third-party access for the telephony transport when prompted.
Assign the permission set
Assign the WorkDial User permission set to each calling user. Because WorkDial is native, this is a standard Salesforce permission set. There is no second permission model to maintain.
Confirm the objects
After install, confirm the native objects exist in Setup: Call__c, Recording__c, Transcript__c, and Sentiment__c. These are where every call writes its data.
