Cookie Policy
- We use a small set of cookies on our website, set by the security and booking tools that keep it working.
- Analytics is cookieless by default. You can allow cookies so we can recognise you across visits, or decline and stay cookieless; you can change your choice at any time.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, though some features (such as spam protection on our contact form) may stop working if you block strictly necessary cookies.
This summary is for orientation only and does not replace the full policy below.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time, and help it work and improve. This policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage and pixels.
Why we use cookies
We use cookies on the WorkDial website only. The WorkDial product runs inside your Salesforce org and does not set marketing cookies on your visitors. Our website cookies keep the site secure and functional, for example spam protection on our contact form. We measure how the site is used with analytics that is cookieless by default, so understanding our traffic does not require setting cookies on your device. If you allow cookies, we use them only to recognise you across visits so our usage data is not double-counted; decline and analytics still runs without cookies.
Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary cookies for security and core site functionality, including bot and spam protection on our contact form. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics: we measure site usage with PostHog. By default this is cookieless (no cookie). If you allow cookies, PostHog sets a cookie so we can recognise you across visits.
- Advertising: we do not use advertising cookies.
Specific cookies used
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| wd_consent | WorkDial | Remembers your cookie choice (allow or decline) | Strictly necessary | 1 year |
| _GRECAPTCHA | Google (reCAPTCHA) | Bot and spam protection, set when the contact-form reCAPTCHA loads | Strictly necessary | Up to 6 months |
| ph_* (PostHog) | PostHog | Recognises you across visits for usage analytics. Set only if you allow cookies | Analytics | Up to 1 year |
By default PostHog analytics is cookieless and the ph_ cookie above is not set; it appears only after you allow cookies. The booking scheduler we embed (YouCanBook.me) and the reCAPTCHA above are third parties that may set their own cookies, under their own notices, only when you use those features.
Your cookie choices
A bar at the bottom of the page on your first visit lets you allow or decline analytics cookies, and analytics keeps running cookielessly if you decline. To change your choice later, delete the wd_consent cookie in your browser and the bar reappears. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, though some features may stop working if you block strictly necessary cookies such as the contact-form spam protection. The third-party tools we embed (the reCAPTCHA on our contact form and the booking scheduler) are governed by the settings of those providers and your browser.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties whose tools we embed: Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on our contact form) and YouCanBook.me (our booking scheduler, loaded only when you open it). Their use of data is governed by their own privacy notices. Our analytics provider, PostHog, sets a cookie only if you allow cookies; otherwise it runs cookieless.
International transfers
Some cookie providers may process data outside your country. Where they do, an appropriate safeguard such as the Standard Contractual Clauses applies.
Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Questions? Email privacy@workdial.io.
