WorkDial vs Natterbox
WorkDial is a Salesforce-native CTI platform that keeps no copy of your call data. Natterbox is genuinely native on records but runs its own PBX, stores recordings in its own AWS account, gates AI to Enterprise, and prices well above WorkDial's published $28, $59, and from $99 tiers, which include AI in every seat.

Where each runs
Natterbox installs as a managed package and writes call records to Salesforce objects in real time. On the records layer, this is genuine Salesforce-native behavior: call metadata lives in your org. The architecture diverges at the media layer. By Natterbox's own data-flow documentation, it runs its own PBX across several AWS regions (with data centers in London) and stores recordings in its own AWS account. The audio does not live in Salesforce or in your own cloud account; it lives in Natterbox's managed storage. That distinction matters for any org with data-residency requirements or audit obligations.
WorkDial installs as a managed package. Calls, transcripts, and sentiment scores write to native Salesforce objects (Call__c, Recording__c, Transcript__c, Sentiment__c) in your own org. You choose where the recording audio lives: Recording__c holds the audio when you keep recordings as native Salesforce Files in your own org, or the metadata and a pointer to the file when you use your own Twilio account or cloud storage. WorkDial keeps no copy of your recordings in any system it operates. Both vendors write the call record the instant the call ends, so neither risks a dropped sync. The question to ask when comparing is not whether call records write to Salesforce, but where the audio lives and who operates that store.
What it costs all-in
Natterbox is priced for larger enterprise deployments; its published tiers run well above WorkDial's range. AI features are gated to the Enterprise tier or sold as per-feature add-ons. SMS, WhatsApp, and PCI compliance are paid add-ons at every tier. The table below shows Natterbox's published per-user, per-month rates.
| What | Cost | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Natterbox Pro AI is gated to Enterprise or per-feature add-ons | $82 / user / mo | Natterbox pricing (as of 2026-06-23) |
| Natterbox Premium SMS, WhatsApp, and PCI are paid add-ons | $146 / user / mo | Natterbox pricing (as of 2026-06-23) |
WorkDial publishes $28, $59, and from $99 per user per month, billed annually, with AI call analysis (transcripts, sentiment, summaries) included in the Professional seat and telephony on your own Twilio at carrier cost. No AI add-on, no channel surcharges.
Where each fits
Natterbox is built for larger orgs, typically 100 seats and up, that want an owned PBX with advanced routing, workforce management, and a vendor that will run the telephony stack end to end. If you need an owned carrier relationship, deep contact-center routing, and PCI-scoped call handling, Natterbox is a credible option at its price point.
WorkDial fits the 20-to-250-employee Salesforce-only org that wants AI call analysis in the seat, call records born in native Salesforce objects, and data residency it controls. There is no seat minimum, no AI add-on to price separately, and a 14-day Professional trial gives the full AI picture before any commitment. WorkDial is not the pick if you need Natterbox's owned-carrier PBX and workforce-management tooling at 500-plus seats; that scale of routing and compliance tooling is Natterbox's ground, not WorkDial's.
